Austin Byron built Live Shuffle as a free app and website.
This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use
as-is.
The short version: Live Shuffle does not collect,
store, or share any personal information about you.
Live Shuffle does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. You can use the app and website entirely anonymously.
To improve your experience, Live Shuffle saves the following
data locally on your device only:
- Your saved favorite songs
- Your playback settings and preferences (e.g., Full Show
Mode, Skip Filler Songs)
- Your previously selected artists, to restore your
session
This information never leaves your device and is not
transmitted to or accessible by me.
When the app fetches music, it sends requests to api.liveshuffle.net. These requests contain only which artist, show, or song you are requesting. No user identifier, account information, or personal data is included. The server logs the HTTP method, request path, and response time for operational purposes only. IP addresses are not logged at the application level.
Songs are streamed directly from third-party audio hosts (such as Archive.org). When you play a song, your device connects to that host to retrieve the audio. Those services operate under their own privacy policies, which I encourage you to review.
The app and website may contain links to external sites (such as Archive.org show pages). These sites are not operated by me, and I am not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
The liveshuffle.net website loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome's CDN. Those providers may log your IP address as part of normal web operations. The app itself does not use these external resources.
The Live Shuffle mobile app does not use cookies. The web app uses browser localStorage to store your favorites and settings locally — this data stays in your browser and is not transmitted to any server.
Live Shuffle does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you
are advised to review this page periodically for any
changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page.
